Comfortable Cut Protection
Cut protection is one of the most challenging aspects of glove technology. However, theoretical protection doesn’t always translate into practical benefits if it sacrifices wearer comfort. Our CUTtech® technology uses carrier materials that offer the desired cut protection while remaining stretchable and flexible without breaking. We build the fiber bundles ourselves to ensure a perfect match with our coating. For maximum cut protection, we use UHMWPE, glass, Kevlar®, and metal fibers, combining them with flexible nylon, elastane, and polyester yarns to create a high-performance material. Longer Service Life Saves You Money and Protects the Environment
Gloves equipped with DURAtech® last longer. Thanks to our patented DURAtech® technology, we ensure above-average abrasion resistance. But that’s not all. When combined with our preconditioned liners, the coating can be washed multiple times without degradation. This significantly increases the glove’s lifespan, helping you save money and conserve resources.
For a Secure Grip
A secure grip helps prevent accidents at work. Our GRIPtech® “micro-cup” finish on the palm enhances grip on dry, wet, and oily surfaces. You need less gripping force, so you can work longer without strain. A secure grip also reduces the need for additional cut protection or enhances safety when combined with our CUTtech® technology. GRIPtech® reduces hand fatigue and increases workplace safety.
For Protection Against Oils and Hazardous Chemicals
Cooling lubricants, oils, greases, and hazardous chemicals—your hands can come into contact with a wide variety of substances in everyday workshop life. Our LIQUItech® barrier was developed specifically for this. We dip the oil-repellent or chemical-resistant LIQUItech® coatings exclusively onto specially matched carrier materials. This keeps the coating flexible and comfortable, while the special material composition protects your hands from a wide range of common cleaning agents and additives. For Protection Against Hot or Cold
THERMtech® combines coating and seamless knitting technologies to provide thermal insulation properties that resist heat or cold. Sharx® has in-house, state-of-the-art facilities for blending heat-resistant yarns and fibers, producing products with high thermal insulation properties without sacrificing flexibility, dexterity, weight, or comfort.
Enhanced Glove Hygiene for Your Hands to Work In
ViroSan™ is designed to prevent the proliferation of viruses that deposit on the glove. It has also been successfully tested against NL63, a human strain of COVID-19. It resides on the glove coating via our proprietary technology platform. ViroSan™ ensures enhanced glove hygiene, keeping your hands protected while you work.
